We provide athletics programs for junior and senior high school students in an effort to foster school spirit, teach responsibility and teamwork, and provide an outlet for students’ sports interests and talents. We are proud of the student athletes on our numerous teams, and we invite you to come out and cheer on our Raiders!
Free Sports Physicals
The Desert Sage mobile clinic will be at Rimrock on Wednesday, August 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to provide Rimrock students with free sports physicals for the 2022–2023 school year! Please call the Rimrock office (July 25, 26, August 1, and 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) at (208) 834-2260 to book your appointment. Athletes need to arrive for their appointment with their physical form signed by a parent or guardian. Physical forms can be printed from the school’s website or picked up at the Rimrock office.
All athletes entering the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, or 11th grade are required to have a new physical on file at Rimrock prior to his/her participation in any sport. 10th and 12th grade athletes, who already have a valid physical form on file, will only need to complete a yearly consent form by their parents.
Please contact the Rimrock office if you have any questions.
New - online forms!
Beginning with the 2021–2022 school year, all athletic registration forms will be available to submit online through the PowerSchool parent portal! To access the forms, you will need a PowerSchool parent account with all your students added to it. If you need assistance with creating a parent account, please contact the Rimrock office at (208) 834-2260. View how easy it is to submit your forms online!
Interscholastic Eligibility and Guidelines
Because of the unique visibility accorded athletes, we expect them, as representatives of the school and the community, to adhere to the following code and eligibility requirements:
Athletes must maintain a high moral character and, at all times, accept responsibility for their conduct. Prior to participating in practice, students must return all necessary paperwork including (but not limited to) insurance forms, parent permission slips, physical forms (grades 6, 7, 8, 9, 11), and interim questionnaires (grades 10, 12). Prior to participating in any full-length game, each team member must possess a valid activity card and pay the participation fee.
