Dear Bruneau-Grandview School District Parents, Staff, and Valued Community Members,

As we enter this special time of year, closing out the calendar and anticipating the start of the second semester in January, I want to extend my deepest, most sincere thanks. Your warmth and cooperation have truly made my transition here feel like coming home. It is an immense honor and privilege to serve as your Interim Superintendent of Schools of the Bruneau-Grandview School District (BGVJSD).

I would like to take a moment to shine a light on the incredible individuals whose dedication makes our mission possible.

My profound gratitude goes to my predecessor, Jeff Blaser, for his years of dedicated service and steady guidance in the Bruneau-Grandview community. We continue to benefit from the strong foundation he built. I also want to specifically thank Rimrock Principal Jonathan Waterlander and Grandview Elementary School Principal Kailee McClure—thank you for your tireless efforts, your passion for our students, and for making our schools such dynamic and supportive learning environments. Furthermore, our community’s thanks are due to Jonathan McClure and his Operations Team for their crucial work, quietly ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for everyone, every single day.

A special acknowledgement must go to JayDene Aquiso, our Business Manager and Human Resources expert. JayDene, your invaluable service, depth of experience, and institutional knowledge have been the bedrock of our stability and continuity during this transition period—thank you for being the steady hand we all rely on.

Above all, I wish to express heartfelt gratitude to every member of our staff who works directly with our students. From the dedicated classroom educators and aides to our friendly transportation and support personnel, you are genuinely the heartbeat of the “kid business.” Your daily commitment to nurturing, challenging, and inspiring our students is our single greatest and most precious resource. Your efforts are why BGVJSD continues to succeed and thrive.

Our shared work is always guided by our clear mission: BGVJSD will provide a high quality education, prepare students for their futures, and enable students to be positive contributors to society. We are excited and energized to dedicate the second semester to maximizing this impact for every single child.

As we look toward the New Year, our commitment to a rigorous, but more importantly, a supportive and compassionate learning environment is unwavering. As we enter this important next phase, we need your continued support, your ideas, and your engaging presence in our schools.
