Message from the Principal

Rimrock Students and Families,

I look forward to working with you all this year as we seek to grow and improve as both individuals and a school. Hopefully, everyone had the opportunity to relax a little over the summer and mentally prepare for the coming academic year, as there will be many opportunities and challenges for each and every student. The team of educators we have at Rimrock is deeply invested in the academic success of our students, as well as the process of instilling character, wisdom, and resilience so that every one of our young adults can achieve success in all their endeavors…academic or athletic, personal or professional. We have high expectations as we start this school year, and if every one of us commits to acting with integrity, treating one another with respect, and giving our best effort in everything we do, I am confident this will be a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone.

It is very important as the year begins that students and families take some time to familiarize themselves with the revised Student Handbook (link at right). There are many changes throughout, but some of the more notable can be found in the following areas:

  • Academic Integrity (p. 10)
  • Dress & Appearance (p. 14)
  • Appropriate Physical Contact (p. 15)
  • Athlete & Spectator Expectations (p. 20)
  • Bell Schedule (p. 23)
  • Updated Discipline Matrix (p. 24)

As a reminder, school will begin for grades 6 through 12 on 21 August 2023. Classes start for junior high students at 8:00 a.m. and high school students at 8:05 (High School will be served breakfast from 7:50 to 8:05 a.m.)

Please feel free to contact the Rimrock office to request a meeting or phone call with me if you have questions or concerns. Thank you for your support, and let’s have an outstanding year together!
